The<br \/>\nQur\u2019\u0101nic verses on <span style=\"font-style:italic\">rib\u0101<\/span>, the traditions from the Prophet<br \/>\n(pbuh) containing numerous <span style=\"font-style:italic\">sunan<\/span>, the opinions of the<br \/>\nCompanions (R), of their followers, the different meanings of usury in<br \/>\nhistory, especially among the Jews, its literal meanings in Arabic and<br \/>\nother languages have all been deeply studied. These studies have been<br \/>\ncarried out by scholars of Islamic sciences, by economists, by<br \/>\nbankers, by lawyers, ulama\u2019, students and by almost all those people<br \/>\nwho have a genuine interest in Islam and a special interest in<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-style:italic\">rib\u0101<\/span>.
